Without a doubt, this is one of the scariest times that our nation and world has ever experienced. A sense of panic, worry and stress about the welfare of our nation, our families, health, wellness, finances, education and more is consuming our social media posts and news stories. There isn't enough gratitude that can be given to those on the front lines of our healthcare. Pray, pray and pray again for them and their families. Pray, wash hands, repeat. In times like these it is crucial that we stay safe and encouraged.
I've always been a person that sees the glass half full and finds that laughter helps any bad situation feel a little better. I try to always find a silver lining and follow the light at the end of the tunnel. Having a little faith and trust in God ALWAYS gets me through the toughest situations. So I decided to capture happiness!
One of my favorite things about being a photographer is being able to capture emotion. I love to tell a story in a photo. This is one reason that I love being a wedding photographer! Weddings are so full of joy and emotion. These moments create amazing photographs that leave a legacy. If I can help cultivate happiness and quickly capture that moment of a twinkling eye then I have been successful.
During this time of quarantine, I wanted to have a way to give back to my community and help share some moments of joy. My friends and neighbors in Cincinnati jumped on board and created some magical moments. On a sunny Thursday, I decided to drive around with my 70-200 lens and do what I called " drive by photo sessions ". It's amazing what you can capture from inside you car! My clients, friends, and friends of friends have said how much they needed a moment to smile and realize how blessed they are to have time at home with those they love the most. I hope these images put a smile on everyones face and helps us appreciate the blessings we have everyday!
Today, tell someone you love them! Be the reason someone smiles and be thankful! #capturehappiness
